Our passion for alpaca began in 2009 when Jannik Weich discovered the fascinating, natural beauty and unique delicacy of sustainable alpaca fur in Peru at the age of 16. This first contact captivated him so much that in 2017 he traveled to Peru with his student friend David to personally select the perfect manufacturer for WEICH Couture Alpaca in accordance with our values. In addition to the goal of producing valuable and sustainable favorite pieces with the highest quality standards, animal welfare, the respectful and species-appropriate treatment of the alpacas and the preservation of their natural habitat are our absolute priorities.
