Our passion for alpaca began in 2009, when Jannik Weich discovered the fascinating, natural beauty and unique softness of sustainable alpaca fur in Peru at the age of 16. This first touch captivated him so much that in 2017 he travelled to Peru with his student friend David to personally select the perfect manufacture for WEICH Couture Alpaca in line with our values. In addition to the goal of producing valuable and sustainable favourite pieces with the highest quality standards, animal welfare, respectful and species-appropriate treatment of the alpacas as well as the preservation of their natural habitat have absolute priority for us. WEICH Couture Alpaca is a new brand that stands for ethically sound, natural and sustainable luxury.
